Last July, Mark and I had the pleasure of capturing Vicky & Kurt’s wedding day at The Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford. We started off the day as Vicky was getting ready, along with her Mum, sister and two flower girls before meeting up with Kurt and his Best Man for a few shots outside of the hotel. We were also allowed to spend some time taking bridal portraits in one of the fabulous suites. The ceremony began with Vicky’s Mum giving her away, and continued with kind, supportive words from one of Vicky’s best friends: The couple had planned to move to Belgium shortly after their wedding day. We made time for the all important family group shots and some of the couples friends. The day continued with more documentary style coverage, very unobtrusive capturing events as they unfolded, right through into the evening reception and their amazing first dance!
