Here are a few highlights from Anastasia and Danny’s wedding day; coverage started as their guests were arriving for the ceremony at City Hall in Bradford, then continued through to the late afternoon, to capture candid moments with family and friends at The Old White Beare in Norwood Green, Halifax. On the way to the venue we stopped for a few couple shots at an old disused factory. Anastasia and Danny were also keen to include their favourite coats (a parka and leather jacket) in a few of the shots, as they had worn these when they first met – I absolutely love a leather jacket and wedding dress combo! Last August Mark and I captured Jenny & Chris’ wedding day, at St Mary’s Church in Wyke, followed by a reception at the Brighouse Sports Club. We were both familiar with the church and reception venue having photographed several weddings and events there in the past. Our coverage began as the guests arrived and concluded with the speeches, but as you can see we managed to document all of the main events of the day, in just a few hours. Wedding Photography at Sandburn Hall York

I’ve been meaning to share these for absolutely ages! Here are a few highlights from Hayley & Tom’s wedding day.

Back in April we photographed Claire & Michael’s wedding. The ceremony was held at the Register Office in Bradford at it’s new location, City Hall, in front of the couples closest family and friends. They had decided not to follow the traditional wedding day structure and opted to walk down the aisle together, which was a lovely idea. After an emotional, personal ceremony we were allowed to take further photographs on a sweeping staircase inside the building, shortly followed by a few family and confetti shots outside. After a short drive, we arrived at the Halfway House in Baildon, where the couple held their reception. After another round of family and group shots we went into the marquee, decorated with fresh flowers, twinkling ceiling lights and a fab display of cakes.

Last month Mark and I took a short drive over to Skelmanthorpe to photograph Heather & Chris’ wedding celebrations. We met Chris and his Groomsmen outside the Methodist Church for a few informal shots of them together before the guests and Bridal party began to arrive. Although we were restricted in terms of taking photographs inside of the Church, we were able to capture the signing of the register and their entrance and exit. After the ceremony there were plenty of opportunities to capture those candid moments between Heather, Chris and their family and friends – the sun even made an appearance too! Shortly after, we made our way to Bagden Hall for further family, friends and group shots. We also had time for some couple shots in the fabulous grounds, before the speeches and the wedding breakfast. Here are a selection of my favourites from the day.
